Welsh slate headstone

Welsh slate is a wonderful medium for carving fine lettering.  I only use the best Welsh slate and will often travel to the quarry to select the slate personally.

I love the simplicity of this particular headstone.  It is elegant and timeless and the perfect memorial to a young life.

Each piece is designed individually, working closely with the clients to ensure that the memorial reflect the life of those remembered.  It is such a priviledge to make a beautiful memorial.  I love making my art pieces but there is still something very special about making a beautiful and fitting memorial.
