Hand carved oak bench

Yesterday we traveled through ten counties delivering and installing artwork to clients!

This hand carved oak bench was commissioned by a client in Gloucestershire and it sits in the courtyard of their fantastic Cotswold stone house.  This was gift for my clients partner.  It looked perfect and the clients were delighted.

The English oak is sculpted and shaped here at my Buckinghamshire studio.  This oak bench has a wonder organic look to the undulating shape and the the limestone legs work well in the Cotswold environment.

The client selected the wording which was then designed at the drawing board and hand carved with hammer and chisel.

This English oak bench will soften and grey in time giving it a natural beauty.
