In the past week Martin Cook and Gary Breeze has witnessed the delivery of the huge granite block which is the centre of their co-designed Chelsea Flower Show Garden.  The Antithesis of Sarcophagi Chelsea Flower Show.  The block arrived from Portugal and was delivered to the sponsors premises, The Marble and Granite Centre Limited.  Not an easy process, removing a 40 tonne block of stone from a flat bed lorry!  Thankfully The Marble and Granite Centre Limited have decades of experience in this field.  The Marble and Granite Centre are one of the biggest importers of marble and granite in the UK

The painstaking process of creating this controversial garden begins this week.  It is getting very exciting.  The stress and tension that surrounds creating a Chelsea Flower Show garden is intense, but the rewards are boundless.

Martin Cook has designed two previous Chelsea Flower Show gardens. The Mindfulness Garden 2013 (gold medal winner) and The Literary Garden 2011 (silver/gilt).  Fingers cross this co-designed garden will be equally successful.
