This hand carved Cumbrian green slate sundial has been set into a York stone surround ready for the pedestal. It was commissioned by a private client as a gift. The words of ‘Bring me sunshine’ have been deeply hand carved around the edge of the cumbrian green slate dial and the sun and dial itself have been hand gilded with 23 carat gold leaf.
