Hand carved architectural lettering
Martin Cook Studio produces hand carved architectural lettering. In 2000 Martin Cook was commissioned by Sir Norman Foster to design and carve the lettering in the Great Court of the British Museum.
Architects nationally and internationally now commission Martin to design and produce hand carved lettering in various types of
British stone such as Portland stone, Welsh slate, Cumbrian slate, Riven slate and Bath stone.
Martin Cook’s work covers architectural projects, art for the garden, standing stones, sundials, benches and tables.
Martin also designs and hand carves beautiful individual slate memorials.
